Our 7th & 8th Grade Modified Division is designed for players who are ready to take their basketball skills to the next level in a competitive, yet supportive environment. This level bridges the gap between youth play and high school athletics, giving athletes the tools, experience, and confidence to excel.
Players will refine their fundamentals while learning advanced concepts like offensive and defensive strategies, court spacing, and game tempo. Practices are high-energy and focused, with an emphasis on conditioning, teamwork, and decision-making under pressure.
Games are played at a faster pace, encouraging athletes to push themselves and compete at a higher level while still maintaining a positive, sportsmanlike atmosphere. By the end of the season, players will have sharpened their skills, built stronger basketball IQ, and gained the competitive edge needed for the next stage of their athletic journey.
All registered individual players will be placed on a House Team. All registered teams will compete as submitted.
All practices and games are held at Elmwood Village Charter School-Hertel Campus (665 Hertel Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14207).
Practice will be held once a week, depending on your team. Once you are assigned a team, you will practice on the same day and time each week.
Games are held on Saturdays starting at 11:30AM
